An older guy, somewhat rough looking saunters up to my desk.

Me- "can I help you, sir?" 🙂

Old Guy- "no" (keeps walking towards me)

...

OG- (gets to the desk) "how do I set the time on my phone" 🙂

M- "it sets itself" 🙂

OG- (gets quizzical look) "It can't be February 29th!" 🤨 😕

M- "Yes it is." 🙂

OG- ... 😕 👀

M- "It's leap year.." 🙂

OG- "Are you serious?" 😲

M- "Yeah, easy way to remember it is that it usually happens every presidential election year." 🙂

OG- "okay thanks." 🤭 (walks away looking at his phone as if it just took him through some space-time vortex)


He was a nice old guy that made my afternoon more tolerable.
