I can't fix that
I had the customer tell me about 30 times that she has terminal cancer and that shes dying. Plus, she got in a car wreck and lost her babies. She got a rental car and someone just hit her in that too. Im just making an insurence claim for you lady....do i need to know all this? Do you expect me to make the deductable cheaper? Is it wrong that I just don't care about that kinda stuff?

not at all.
i don't care about it, you shouldn't either.

While you're giving your 'I'm sorry to hear that's, throw in a good old fashioned 'That's great!' or a 'congratulations'. You know, just to show that you don't even care enough to listen.
