for future reference... its free to JOIN those places, not free to download. If they want your credit card number there is no way that they want to give you stuff for free. I checked em both out, and unless i missed something, they both wanted to charge me. One asked for a cc # and the other said i could get FREE unlimited downloads for such and such amouth per month. Last time i checked, free didnt require money.

3gforfree is free only if you go on your phone and 3gupload is some garbage now becasue only polyphonic is free and you have to pay.99 for real tones. But if you need a better site try audio3g.com

a lil trick if you havent heard... on some camera phones.. you can add sound to a picture message... choose record new.. record whatever you want, and send it to yourself as a picture message (must have pic included) when you receive, save the sound and use it as your ringer...

it depends what provider and what phone you use. 3gforfree is only for sprint for the real ringtones. the midis will work though who wants em? If you go to the manufactures website you can find some free ringtones. Like moto, sony, ect...
