Transfering games to new phone?

Is there anyway to transfer the games I bought with my old phone to my new one? My old phone was a Nokia 6820 and I'm rather attached to Bejeweled and Lemonade stand ;). My new phone is a Samsung D357. I've been able to send myself my downloaded ringtones, but the games are still stuck on the old phone. Would suck to have to pay for them again.

Can't they do all of that for you if you take it to your carrier's store??

I know from having a Verizon (CDMA) phone that they can transfer just about everything from one phone to the other for you.

You are right, you shouldnt have to pay for games twice!

The same game can vary from phone to phone based on the individual capabilities of the phone. Some games will actually have more features or additional levels than the same game on another phone simply because one phone has more memory than the other. With that in mind, it is easier to understand why you just can't transfer software/games. Try for the credit, they'll probably work with you.

A friend of mine called Verizon cust. care when she got a new phone, and told them she had a lot of ringtones she downloaded and if it was possible for them to credit her the money she paid on ringtones so she could purchase them again. They did it without a hassle

Call customer service. They have a record of payments and downloads.

They will also see you changed phones. You should get a credit.

I KNOW THAT EVEN IF YOU SWITHCH PHONES, WITH THW SAME SERVICE, THAT THEY CAN TRANSFER THE INFOR FROM ONE TO THE NEXT. HOWEVER, THERE ARE SOME PHONES THAT YOU JUST CANNOT TRANSFER THE INFO AT ALL. FOR WHAT EVER REASON THIS IS, I DON'T KNOW. YOU WOULD HAVE TO SEE IF IT IS POSSIBLE BETWEEN THE TWO PHONES.
