I got a S710a yesterday and I'm trying to figure out how to play MP3's. I transferred 2 files via Bluetooth from my iTunes library onto the phone. They showed up in my My MEdia>Other folder and were saved to the memory stick. I then used More>Manage Files>Save to Phone. They are in the Other folder and are not showing up in my Media Player or Sounds lists. Also, I went to MEdia Mall>Hit Picks and downloaded a song and I can't find it anywhere on the phone. Please help, what am I doing wrong?? 🙄

Are the mp3 in proper format? Sometimes a phone wont recognize a file if it is an improper format. A dumb question but is the phone on silent or vibrate? If it is then change it to loud. I know that sounds obvious but I did that so many times when I had that phone. Another suggestion is to make sure that the mp3s have the .mp3 extension on the end. You said you're using iTunes so more than likely you have a Mac so check those extensions.

It's on loud. I can't even get them to show up in the menus to try to play them. Yeah, I'm using a Powerbook and they do actually have an .mp4 extension, which the instruction manual says is supported also.

Also, do you know how to increase the amount of time before the screensaver comes on? Right now it fades out at 15 sec, fades further at 20 sec, and goes black at 60 seconds, which is really, really annoying.
