Ring tone Problem on Moto V710
Here’s the deal: I’m new to all this ring tone stuff (less than 24 hours). I downloaded the wav file of the phone ringing sound from the TV show “24.” The wav file is a ring ending with 1.5 seconds of silence.
Not knowing just what to do I figured I should just loop the file, so I did. Using Wavepad, I looped it several times, creating a 28 second wav file. Converted the new file into an MP3 file. I then changed the extension of the file to mid from mp3. Emailed it to my phone and was able to play it on my phone and use it as a ring tone.
PROBLEM is that the ring tone won’t stop playing. If you go into the settings and attempt to change the ring tone from one ring tone to the new “24” ring tone, it will play the entire 28 seconds e...

Wont the phone loop the clip for you without looping mulitple times and then saving it? I'm just thinking you should try just saving the unedited file to the phone and see if the phone loops it by itself.
