I did not make those phone calls.......

Customer comes in and is ranting about the overage on their phone bill. So I tell them that I will go over the bill with them and see what is going on...
Customer: I did not make all these phone calls and I am NOT going to pay for them!!!
*I am looking at the bill and the numbers that were charged were the same numbers that were made all month long*
Me: ok, do you know this number 555-555-5555?
Customer: umm no...
Me: Ok well this number was dialed numerous times during the month and you were not charged for this call.
Customer: Oh yea that is Billy Bob, yea I made those calls
*ok here is the good part*
Me: ok, well the charges are from you calling Billy Bob and you had gone over you min at that point. So you have told me you know th...

I did pretty much the same thing with a customer last week. She had gone over by at least 1500 minutes...talking to somebody in California (I'm in CT). She claims to not know anybody in California. I was lucky. I had asked to see her phone, then looked at her last call placed. Guess what it was...that's right...California.

Then...her phone rings in my hands...guess who was calling? That's right...California. 😁

I said, "Oh, looks like that stranger keeps calling you...want me to tell them to leave you alone?"

She grabbed the phone out of my hand and left...my co-worker and I had a nice long laugh after that one... 🤣 😉

I had just the oposite story.

I girl called me up to ask some questions regarding her plan. I brought up her account and low and behold I noticed that she has been using her phone quite frequently. Her bill for December/January was apx. $400! I saw that she was on a 450 minute plan and had about 1300 peak minutes used. I felt so bad for her. I explained her situation and she couldn't believe what happened. She totally understood what happened and she said "Well, the sales rep told me that was the best plan for me." Well, for the most part he was right, except that you are using alot more minutes that is alocated to you. I did some research and found out that she has only gone over that one period. Well she was also on pace to get...
