Why do people think they can just get any random phone and activate it on a competitors network?

Because they can plug any old phone into their home land line. And they're stuck under that mindset, or "uneducated on the technology" as some of the more P.C. people would put it.

Same reason they are shocked when they make an insurance claim on their phones.

"What do you mean there is a deductible for my insurance?!?!?"

Uneducated dolts.

Whose fault is that? It isn't PC to say they just don't understand the technology.

Do you know the difference between Tylenol and Advil, without looking it up?

Texaswireless,

Did you say you own/work for stores in Lubbock? While finishing my degree at Tech, I was with Go Wireless. So are you part of Johnny Bailey's group? Just curious. Happy selling.

Will,

You know who I am. Come on, think just a little bit and you can guess. NO, I am not with Johnny.

Higher up. Chris runs West Texas now and Holly has no interest in running her own store, or capability in my opinion.

Ding ding ding ding. What has the man won today?

BTW, you would be committing suicide if you open a store in DFW selling Cingular. Call me if you still have my mobile.

What makes you say that? I was planning on hitting the west side of the metroplex. I was looking in locations in Stephenville, Wichita Falls, a few locations in Wise county, and around the speedway on 114. I spoke with Jennifer Drake who is in charge of "New Agents" at the Tollway RSO and she said that they are only expanding areas within their existing customer base. It sucks because I have the start-up money for 2 locations and obviously well over a year of successful sales. What f's things up is all the authorized agents that have switched after the merger. I live in Addison and there are 14 stores within a 3 mile radius. So yes it is saturated.

I do have an offer to be a subagent, but screw that. I am trying to be my own boss. Working...

Hey man, the information given to me was that a V600 was missing and you suddenly had a V600. If the guys there would have not been stupid and counted the one on display there would never have been an issue.

If you care to we can chat about what went down but you gotta remember that I was going on what your AM said was the facts.

Out of the area is cool. Anywhere inside DFW is a recipe for disaster. That is why I stayed here instead of moving to Vegas or back to DFW. West Texas still has many areas that need expansion w/o having to go out of town. And as you know, many of the stores here have crappy locations. My location is AWESOME.

Let's chat offline before we completely hijack this thread.

See ya later.
