system update

What kind of water-head, jerrys kid decides to do a major system update that will take away the abillity to activate or upgrade service at 8:00 pm on a satuday night?

I could understand 8 pm on say a tuesday, but not the busiest day of the week

Although I complained many times when I ran two mall locations, the hour we were open and they were closed never seemed to hurt us.

The reasoning from the techo dudes is there is more time from 8 PM on a Saturday to opening on Sunday (and customer care is usually closed on Sundays) then there is between any two other days. Also, MOST stores are closed by 8 PM on Saturday.

Yeah, the malls get shafted, but oh well.

For stores yes, but customer care opens at 6 or 7am depending on the market.

I am in Lubbock, TX.

Ok that makes a little more sense, but I still don't agree with saturday night. I've had to send atleast 3 activations away in the hopes that they will actually come back to me tomorrow.
If the update doesn't crash eveything for longer than they thought like ATT always did.
