speaking spanish?
The store I work in attracts a large number of spanish-speaking customers.
Sometimes they come with a translator, sometimes they dont.
My question is, if they have someone to translate, or if they try and speak a little english, should I use my spanish skills? For some reason, I get all weird and embarrassed-feeling, as if they will laugh if I pronounce something wrong...
What would everybody else do?
sometimes it kinda backfires cuz a coworker will be like, "oh yea,he speaks spanish" and ill be like uhh... no i don't, and they're like staring at me, and then the coworker is like "ooooo ok yea nevermind" lol
