I work for sprint retentions and making good money. I want to know who works in retentions/cancellations at other companies. How much is your hourly rate and commission. What location are you at and are they hiring. I looking to work somewhere else.

hahahaha i make 9.25 an hour and thats doing retention/sales/billing/technical support....god i hate my job haha

We make 12.50/hr+ commission. Comission can be up to 3000.00 and as low as 950.00 extra a month if we meet our save quota. I make between 1700.00-2100.00 extra a month for my bonus comission. I think i need new work environment or I'm just tire of the cellphone business altogether. Help!!! These customer are diving me crazy. 😢

Making $3500 at an entry level position is nothing to scoff at. No offense, but if you have no skills to put you in a more technical field I doubt you'd be making any where near the income you are now.
I'm not saying you do not have a college education, I'm making an assumption based on your narrow focus on entry level positions in your current field.

I don't work in retentions or anything (in-store salse rep), but how does your pay structure work? Commissioned on customers "saved" in some fashion?

per hour for me, but ohter than the free money they give you for great calls..like today scored really good so i got me a $100 bucks

Yes, we get a monthly bonus based on the customers we save. We have a 995 pts we have to hit each month. If we hit 995 pts, we get 950.00 at the end of the month. Each line we save is 4 pts and each line we extend is 2 pts. That's alot of saving. 🙂

I don't think I could stand talking to people all day who wanted to cancel their service. I'd eventually start telling them "Get the he** outta my phone line" so yeah-- that wouldn't be the job for me. 🤣
