But it is about how frustrated I get with my job sometimes from a company view. 😛
I'm just really tired of telling people yes, we ordered that 2 weeks ago, we will have it here by this Thursday. And it doesn't come this Thursday or the next or the next!!!! And when we do get phone and accessory shipments in, it's mass amounts of the phones we never sell and we never get any of the phones we actually need. Sorry, but in my kiosk we rarely sell the Nokia 5300. WHY DO I NEED 35 OF THEM??!!!? Or the new Nokia pre paid phones. Why do I need 55 of those? Not to mention we have 8 cupboards. Two for each carrier and two for Dish and supplies. My T mobile is taking over 4 of them!!! We have no room left for any other worthless phones that aren't go...

I have higher sales than my manager. I do an average of 17 activations in a 5 day working week. Thanks. We sell Sprint, T Mobile and At&t. I'm not gonna lose a sale because I pushed someone too far to buy a phone they don't want.

Are you a salesman, or a clerk? 5300's are actually pretty sick, and if I lived in a place that had great coverage with T-Mob, I'd be all over it.

haha I have the same problem and whenever I bitch to our inventory coordinator she gets all huffy and says that nobody below district manager can ever call her. The second problem is that my dm doesnt understand when I tell her that we will sell a bunch of phone A but we wont sell any of phone B.

correct. I dont know how you like to treat your custies but i dont like to give the people in my community poop just because it is cheaper for my company to buy than decent merchandise.

We don't sell any of the 5300's, which isn't a horrible phone, but I would never get another one, but it's because our RIZR's are 19.87, the Pearl just went down to 59.87 and the Blast went down to 49.87. Why pay 39.87 for the 5300 when there are better phones for 10 or 20 bucks more? Or on the other hand, 10 or 20 bucks less? But now we are out of RIZR's and they refuse to send us anymore. I work at the LAyton, UT Sams Club SCK.

I feel for ya. I love how SCK handles their shipments - a couple weeks ago, we ran out of our Alltel stock and had to start telling customers to come back later because we didn't have any phones to sell them. When our shipment came in, it was lousy - three of each of the new stock, and ONE RAZR, which was our most-requested handset! We still haven't gotten enough RAZRs to fill the demand. Luckily, the Hue is amazing and has become our new go-to phone.

The shipment we got today included two Body Glove cases for PDAs, which we don't even sell! 🤣

Haha our shipment had 2 of those also and I looked at it like, Uhhh.... What am I supposed to do with this? It fits the Treo and some other smartphones, but when we only sell 3, none of which it fits, whats the point?
