This may have been suggested before and I'm not even sure if it's possible.
Is there anyway to "iggy" people? I know we can ignore posts and choose not to read them, but not having to look at certain peoples/trolls numerous posts would definately make it easier for me to find relevant posts that actually matter.
Just curious. Thanks in advance.

You mean tell the forum system not to display messages from a certain person? A personal "ingore" list?

The only reason that would be difficult is the threaded structure of the system. The vast majority of messages are replies to messages, and have messages attached as replies below that.

If certain messages are "hidden", there would still need to be a visible placeholder that said "ignored message" or something, so that you could still see the replies below that from non-ignored users.

But then the replies below "hidden" messages might not makes sense without the context of the "hidden" message.

...and you'd still see the "hidden" message in the reply tree, so I don't see a huge advantage over just paying attention to the userna...
