New Alltel Phones?

I realize this may be a question that is asked a lot, but the other day i stopped into a retail store and asked if they were aware of any new phones coming out in the next month. She told me they were going to get a new razr and the motorola Q. Then I called about 3 weeks later, and a sales rep told me she heard a "rumor" that a new nokia is coming out. So I was just wondering if any one knew what phones are coming out and when.

Thanks for your help.

oh and there is another samsung, u520 coming out sometime. i saw it on the FCC site awhile ago, and according to bluetooth qualification page it has A2DP which means it's going to be a music phone.

By 9/5 you mean September 5th? Sorry I'm a little confused. Thanks for your help. Also do you know if the KRAZR is supposed to be that much better than the v3?

i meant 10/5.

sorry. there's lots of negative press around the k1m right now because of verizon's version with their UI. it's not fair to consider that when thinking about the alltel version.

it's pretty much the v3m in a new body with a much higher price. alltel doesn't carry the v3m.

i think for users looking for a solid new phone that don't have a razr right now, it may be a good upgrade (like for me). but if you have a razr or e815 and are content, it may be smarter to wait for a price drop.

Verizon users can't wait for Alltel to release the K1M, so someone can leak the Moto UI and flash their Verizon phones with it. Verizon always has to cripple their phones, and now do a...

One more thing, do you have any idea how much the phone is going to cost, with say a 2 year contract?

$249.99. I don't want to know what the 1 year pricing will be...

The phone is flat too expensive right now IMHO. Without contract it is $399 unless you by id directly from Motorola at $349. That is still a little too rich for my blood. I just into a new contract so any change I would make would be at retail price.

Or you could get it for $314 after buying prepaid service and cancelling the account clearing the esn and putting on a contract account....
