I thought something big was supposed to be announced. The whole 10 callers thing is a joke. Alltel really needs to bring in some new phones. Their phones suck compared to the competition. I hope some of the new slim LGs are offered.

How is that a joke? Are you kidding me... That is one of the best deals in wireless especially for those of us with Family plans. YOu are right Alltel needs new phones but the announcement on the 18th was for a great product that is not even going to cost the average consumer any money.

I agree, 10 friends outside of the Alltel network? For the most part, your family will already be on Alltel M2M. And the friend thing is nice, but...whose got 10 friends anyways, lol. Let's see some phones!

It's going to save a lot of people their minutes. In my area Our customer base is parents with teenagers...at least a lot of my customers have teenagers. I have told some people about this and they have went crazy! Not just friends....800 numbers and people out of state. Example, My Dad has verizon, my mom has cingular, my duaghters boyfriend has nextel. All minute killers for my account(about 600+ minutes a month). Not any more!!!

yeah but when you're paying 59.99 or more, you probably have more minutes than you'll ever need. Then with this, you'll never use them at all!

It definetly will the benefit the family plans since most are already over 59.99. The average single line consumer is over 49.99 anyways and I know many of my customers would be willing to pay the $10 extra to get this added benefit ofthe plan.Remember Suncomm is Charging $15 for this feature so that being said it is a good deal for many people who want it or at the very least plans with multiple lines.
