CHARING ALLTEL PHONE
WARNING... long post here, but it takes me awhile to describe my issue.. the phone is an lg 5450 on alltels service...owners manual is of no use...but for the life of me I cant figure out where to stick the charger..
visualize your phone closed, and you are
looking at the front of the phone... a small hole on the lower left
hand side of the phone, is that where the charger goes? didnt tell
me at the store and their are other "holes". I read somewhere about
people breaking the jacks on the phone by putting the charger in the
wrong hole, so i don't want to make that mistake on the first day...
secondly, the car charger i bought has a completely different end on
it, looks nothing like the end on the home charger.. I thought that

the LG model has a 'bent' charger plug. From what I remember it goes in the side...
but, not the top side....thats for an earpiece.
I haven't sold an LG in months....but it so happens, I have a used LG5450 charger in my briefcase so I can visually see it.
If yours is 'bent' its the correct one.
The rubber piece that is pulled out the end of the LG is for a data cable for picture-to- internet hook-up, etc. Its the small hole, the standard make, for the earpieces, are a 2mm size so they look slighty larger...
Try it delicately.... hope this helps....

We have several models of LGs, but not the 5450. On all of ours, you have to take out the rubber thingy at the bottom of the phone to use the car charger. and on our LX5550 the home charger goes into the standard-sized round hole on the right side of the phone. Hope this helps!
