QWERTY phones?
Any chance Alltell will carry a phone with a full QWERTY keyboard like the LG V Verizon is offering?

they do have some qwerty phoens though..
such as; the blackberry 7250.. the ppc 6700. palm treo 650.
in the future? they will have more..
fyi.. stay away from the blackberry 7250 till the ruling will be released against rimm. (maker of the blackberry)

Great post Nextel 18. Also they are rumored to get a phone similiar to the side kick by samsung or MOtorola, I cannot remember who exactly makes it but look for it in the 1st quarter of '06 or the rumor I have heard.

I just wish they would tell us sales reps what is coming out more than a week before but I guess tech support is the only ones to be that lucky.

I want to believe that Alltel is getting a Sidekick II like device...but a Sidekick like device would be a device built around "IM" with an interface that is not Palm, or Windows Mobile or like anything that is currently being offered. What I can't believe is why there has not been such a device released for CDMA networks (we're going to exclude the LG VX-9800 or the "V"...I mean is there some kind of technical limitation that I don't know about? Because all I see is potential, pair a device like that with a fun and easy to use "IM" eccentric user interface with support for (aim-yahoo-msn instant messaging and email) and a web browser, and a competitively priced rate plan and you got one hot selling, high demand product...please let someone ...
