It's the risk you take dealing on eBay. Lesson learned.

I wouldnt just drop it if her ad on ebay didnt mention prepay phone.
what I would do is file both with ebay, paypal, and if this is a credit card instead of debit card also file on that

if she didnt say it was prepay that might be lack of info, but still wrong.

however, if she said new and there was ANY calls then its not new.

get your money back, i sell and buy on ebay and would not list anything false like that, she should have to say its prepay and used. i tell people the minutes on the phone when i list one

She should have said it was in "New condition". But ultimately is it worth a dispute iver all of it? Not in my opinion, you don't gain anything by buying it new off ebay or claimed as new with only 6 minutes of talk time on it. And there is no difference between a prepaid phone and the one you buy for contract in this case. So it will not affect you. It is a new condition phone that you got at a good discount. I would call it good personally. But she did lie in not mentioning that it was not new and unopened but she must have used it a little. But really 6 minutes of use is not a big deal.

Agreed you got a decent deal here. If the phone is in decent shape dont knock it. Not worth your time to dispute it over simple wording. Just be sure you put slightly used in the feed back.

I agree.

But out of curiosity, is that 6 minutes or 6 hours? I took it as 6 hours. I might be upset about 6 hours but even then... compared to how long a person usually keeps a phone that's not very much.
