So long as there aren't any delays, you will see the Razr 2 coming to Alltel on Thursday this week. Sweet phone and a great addition to Alltel's newer phones.

I was in a Verizon store in the DC area last Thursday, and checked out the new phone. Cosmetically, it's a winner. But has it been out long enough to be buried, just because it's a Motorola?

Yes, the long wait is over! The Motorola V9m will be available for purchase tomorrow. The full retail is $499.99, the one-year contract price is $449.00, I think, and the two-year is $399.99 at time of purchase with a $100 mail in rebate. Totally outrageous pricing...I suspect the phone will not sell well until the price drops a bit. Verizon is reporting software problems already, as some of you already know. I'll be interested to find out if Alltel's version has glitches, too.
