Alltel is the worst cell company I have ever seen
I have used cell service since 1986, and Alltel is, by far, the absolute worst compamny I have ever had the misfortune of using. Not only is their coverage horrible in KS and NE, but, I think that the CUSTOMER SERVICE, or lack thereof, is equally as bad. I have had the head sales exec in Salina, KS, tell me something on the phone, and not back up his words. That sort of thing happened all the time with me. They want one thing: Your dollar, and they care at ALL about your satisfaction. I could get better results from two tin cans and a piece of string. 👿 👿 👿 😡 😡

Wow you need to move because they're coverage is awesome in the Gulf Coast area. No problems I've found from New Orleans to Tampa. Far better than AT&T, Verizon, Sprint PCS or T-Mobile. Even better tha Nextel and I hear they're launching PTT in the area so they may give them something to think about.

I have to say that nebraska and kansas is for sure a week coverage area for alltel. I can understand that coverage issues are a concern and deciding factor for you. But as far as customer service, I have found compared to other providers, alltel by far has the best. They may not be able to stick a portable tower in your pocket but they will go out of their way to help. With every company though there are bad apples.. in the future be nice and ask for a supervisor. No one wants to go out of their way for a customer that goes out of their way to be condescending and hateful. Which from your message I take it you were.
