new phone advice
Hey my 6255i is starting to crack, and it is time for a new phone. What do you guys think is equal or better than this phone.
I've had a Motorola t720 and that was the worst phone ever. So I kinda gun shy on Motorola's, maybe they have improved.

Well i guess i am wanted....anyways i loved my 6255i and when it broke the closest phone i could find that was a flip phone was the MOTOROLA 815, but the only issue was the screen kept going whit on 3 dif models. If you are buying in the store that is what i would get but if you are buying say on ebay, I have found the answer!
The nokia 6235! LOVE IT! IT is identical to the 6255 except no memory card slot or flash on camera! Other than that perfect! And the size is crazy! It is as long as the 6255i closed (with the antanae of corse!) and so that i would strongly recomend! Otherwise the MOTOROLA 710 is pretty good too!

The 6265 slider is an awesome phone. Is Alltel getting it? It is even cooler and better than the 6255. I'm hoping it sticks around until June when I can get a new phone. The 6235 was an awesome phone. We discontinued it, but except for the non mp3 and memory card thing, it was a great phone.

exactly i loved the 6255 and i love the 6235, except there is no memory card (which is no big deal i have an ipod and i bought a data cord for my 6235) The 6235 is nice thought, and actually has 14 MB memory not 10 as phonescoop said...or at least when i check and see how much memory i have left it says the total is 14MB...but yeah i would love the slider since my upgrade is due in may...but i am now spoiled by the size of the 6235!

Thanks to ya'll. I was thinking about the 815 but now I just don't know. I do know two peeps who have this and both like it but when you hear of trouble with it makes me wonder.
Still have a month before I can get a new one so maybe Alltel will come out with something before then.

yeah i went through 3 815s in a week...plus they are kinda old so i would get something newer....do you love nokia so much that you cant switch to a different brand?

Just got burned on the motorola t720. I have really enjoyed the nokia.
If the phone has a good reception then I am more than willing to look at it. camera feature and bluetooth also sway me.
But to answer your question, I just don't want a cheap *** phone..
