i930

I used to work in a nextel store and I know we had alot of issues with the i930 freezing up, etc. I was wondering if anyone knows if the issues with the i930 were resolved???

hey arrgghh, check www.motorola.com/iden and check the software version of your i930 #*menue right arrow - phone info, software... but you know this having worked in a nextel store ;-)

Yeah I would do that but I dont have a 930, someone I know is thinking about buying one but he wanted to know if there were still problems with it.

if it's a newer phone... then it should have the most current version of software and an update codeplug... at this point in the game, it's go for broke... he get's it or he doesn't...

so where do you work at now? as in regard to your question i would not recommend the 930 at least not yet.

Sprint Together with nextel. Im just in a Nextel Legacy Store. are you in a Sprint Legacy Store?

Yeah, I was working at a Legacy Nextel store and I wish I still could. I had about a 30 min drive to work and I got alot more commission there than here. (Let me tell you this, my 2 weeks commission at Nextel was $690...Here I got freakin $300 for a month!) All the sudden in January they closed my store and most of the other Legacy Nextel stores and shipped me to the Legacy Sprint store that I'm at now... which is about an hour away from my house. Not to mention, 1/2 of the people at this store are backstabbers and tell lies to try to get me and my other co-worker that also came from Nextel in trouble. 👿

i know the feeling....i used to work in a legacy nextel store, now i work in a indirect store and the manager is aways trying to steal activations and throw people under the bus.

Yeah it really sucks. I'm glad my manager isn't one of those people. Did your store close too?
