Text messaging
I have a Nextel i95cl and I've been wondering this entire time (since I've had Nextel, almost three years) is that when I receive text messages, it only displays the entire mobile number of who I received the message from, instead of that actual contact's name. I added all my friends and contact to my corporate, personal, and regular address book...is it just me or are all Nextel phones like this? Thanks.

That is incorrect. If you are using two-way messaging you can have your name come across instead of the number. Do the following:
1. Enter Net mode
2. Enter Text Messaging
3. Choose Option 3 - Preferences
4. Choose Option 1 - Subscriber Name
Save when done.
You can also set up canned replies.

That is correct. I have mine set up the same way.
The only thing the phone (i95) doesn't do is look up the saved individuals and display their name instead of complete address when receiving a text msg. Maybe the later phones do this, but the i95 doesn't.

Have all the people who are sending you messages set up their profile? If not you will never receive their name.
Current two-way messaging is Web based and has nothing to do with what names are programmed in your address book (for now).

I am as well. If the person sending you text messages has not set up their user profile their messages will be tagged with their phone number. If they have set up a profile name the name will show up in your inbox.
