I know nextel phones all have different sim cards (well, not individually, but different sets of phones use different cards), but i was wondering if I could put my i760 sim card into a new i860 and use that phone?

I belive you still can... It used to be one sim for the two digit model phones, ie: iXX and one for the three digit phone, iXXX.... Don't know if it's still that way.

Because they don't want you to be switching back and forth. They would rather sell you an additional line. 😉

I had a i736 and moved up to the i860. Moving the SIM worked for contacts, but would'nt allow me to send MMS. So if you take pics, you won't be able to send them anywhere nor will you be able to send text msgs. You have to upgrade to the "falcon" SIM card that comes stock with the i860.
