It's outstanding to see them paying such attention to the state. When the article refers to software upgrades made to Florida's network, is it referring to WiDen? Well I can say that I'm glad that NEXTEL is doing some improvements down here as we have had capacity issues for the better part of a year. I was in a meeting with some of their infrastructure employees with their future site deployment plans 2 weeks ago and they do look promising, but they still have a lot of work to do.
I have an i860, and I did notice some changes about a month or two ago on the interconnect side. I'm programmed for 6:1 and while I do drop calls on occasion, it has gotten better, but not much.
