to be honest with you I have tried both and I'm in the Chicago area they were both absolutely terrible!! Dropped calls were horrible!!! I hope this merger was worth it for sprint seems like a futile attempt to save a dying company! both J.D power and consumer reports as well as the cbs2chicago "great cellular test" back my facts good luck
if you said nextel isnt good in your area then how could they be overselling the area and overloading the network? if they were bad they wouldnt even be selling anything.

us vz=1
nxtl tmobile att= 2
cingular att=3
so nextel ag...

1. U.S. Cellular
2. Verizon
3. Nextel
4. T-Mobile
5. AT&T
6. Cingular
7. Sprint
Enjoy...."
3rd isnt that bad...
and also you said that nextel's system was overloaded and oversold. that means that people likes nextel.Noooooo...that would mean that (let's be hypothetical) whoever's network we'd be talking about was beyond capacity.
it mentions that nextel is number 3 and thats not too bad.
