PEBL Upgrade
Anyone know why T-Mobile is offereing the PEBL for FREE to ANYONE who wants it?
I did not qualify for the fully discounted price on handsets but was able to upgrade to the PEBL online for FREE today. I have never seen T-Mobile offer a free handset to people who don't qualify. My girl was even able to order one today for free and she upgraded to another phone a month ago.
The phone's not going to turn into a pumpkin after a month, is it? Called to see what the known issues were and there weren't too many so I thought that it would be a good idea to grab one.
Any ideas?
One of my friends told me that when he got the phone , they guy in the tmobile store told him that they were going to stop carrying the phone because newer phones were coming out at the beginning of 2007.
I've had my PEBL longer than any other phone. As a serious cell phone nerd, I usually buy a new one at least every 6 or 8 months, often even more frequently. I bought the PEBL the day T-Mobile pre-released it, which was in December of last year. It is without a doubt the best phone I've owned to date. If you're like me and you use your phone for calling and text messaging and NOT trying to browse the web on a postage stamp-sized screen, you can't go wrong.

i dont like it
its overpriced
maybe i have just have had free phones that i liked better.
