"Don't drop Dad"
Don't drop Dad!
T-mobile has the fewest dropped calls in New York.
Did T-mobile pull a cingluar and throw money at telephia to make this claim? Or is there another " leading independant wireless research company" out there?

The "leading independent research organization" is said to have done drive testing of the network on T-Mobile's own website in the disclaimer. JD Powers certainly does not perform their own drive testing of the wireless companies. Their results are based on consumer polls.

'Clearest sounding calls nationwide' and ‘Fewest dropped calls’ claims based on a leading independent research organization's MOS and dropped call results derived from 12-month (June '05-June '06), voice drive study conducted in 35 major metropolitan areas which encompass 47% of total US population.
It's a leading independent research organization

Where did you "actually go to find" this information? I did some research myself and everything I have found says differently.
I honestly don't even know why I'm responding to your nonsense because you never respond to facts when you try to stir up trouble.

"Cingular claims that an independent study of more than 300 markets, which include about eight in 10 U.S. residents, showed that it had the fewest dropped calls. Cingular said T-Mobile cited data from the same study to falsely claim it had fewer dropped calls in the 35 biggest U.S. metropolitan areas, including New York, Chicago and Houston."
That clear enough for you?

This is the actual link with the quote I used.

It is really quite simple queens GSM isalways going to have fewer dropped calls then CDMA
This ranks as one of the most ignorant comments I've heard about cellular technology. Congrats, you easily cracked the top 5 on that one.
That study also is a regional study Cingular just chose to convenently ignore the regional aspect. T-mobile the study concluded tha T-Mob does if fact drop less calls in a few markets around the country NY happens to be one of them.
This is all you had to say. You didn't have to make yourself look retarded with all your other comments.
If you had taken the time to actually look into this you would have see...
