Hi,

Can someone please tell me if T-Mobile's coverage in the NYC area is reliable?

I just *love* questions like this as if a whole city had identical reception all over the city. A much more useful question would be to ask how is coverage in "X" area rather than make a vague question like "how is coverage in _______" whether the blank is New York City, Buffalo or Menlo Park, California.

Thats the dumbest responce I think I have ever heard.

Actually, all your responces on this board are pretty dumb, so I'll have to rethink my first sentence there and see if it ranks up there with some of your other posts.

Sorry you think it's a dumb "respojnce." It's sort of what I would expect of you though.

No need to get testy 🙄 ...

The area of NYC I'm interested in knowing about coverage is Morningside Heights (116th & Broadway), area that includes Columbia, Barnard and a couple of other institutions.

Sorry if I sounded that way. I just get tired of people saying "how is coverage in ..." and assuming that they're going to get an answer for where they are interested without telling us where that is. Just the nebulous in X will never happen since there are too many variables to say that service is great or lousy in a certain city or place. On the other hand if a carrier doesn't serve a certain city then the coverage would be pretty bad 🙂

I like how you guys answered the question..........

Coverage in that area is better than average. I have t-mo and have lived in that area for the past 2 years without a problem.

This is the best way to find out:

It is very reliable, so if there are specific areas you have concerns about, places you would use the phone most frequently, you can view it here.
