So I was in my local target today and they are starting to sell Verizon and T-Mobile phones. No one in electronics knew anything about them yet. In glass cases they had the T519, RAZR, and Nokia 6103 with price tags underneath them. Underneath the T519 was 190, Razr 200, and 6103 179. Do you think this is the without contract price.? I sure hope so.!

I've always thought retail stores charged way too much money for the handsets. Last year, I was in Wal-Mart and they were wanting $300.00 for a Razr and $250.00 for a Moto V360. My jaw hit the floor!

The phones they sell at Target are prepaid plans. (Or at least in my area they are.) That is why the phones are so expensive. They are not subsidized by a two year contract.

those ARE the retail prices. When you sign up for a contractual agreement with T-Mobile it's much less. When I worked at Walmart's Connection center, the V360 was free and the RAZR was like, $48.67 on a 2-yr agreement.

Are you kidding me? Here's a novel concept - ASK THEM!

It sounded to me it was perfectly clear - buy the phone retail or sign a 2 year agreement. Sounds very transparent to me...

If you didn't read the first post, I said they didn't know anything, but thanks. They still don't actually know anything so I was just asking. No need to be rude now.
