Questions about the T-Mobile SDA phone...battery life and ringer volume
I recently upgraded my wife's phone to the T-Mobile SDA back in July 2006. Overall, she is pleased with the phone with the exception of two things--
1. Ringer volume; AND
2. Battery life.
Anyone know how we can prolong this phone's battery life? It just seems that if we mistakenly don't place this phone back on the charger at night after say not more than 45-60 minutes of total call time usage (the remainder ofcourse in standby time) then the next morning or latest afternoon, this phone is usually out of power entirely. And do make a note that all the while, the WiFi and Bluetooth aill be in the OFF position so neither of these settings are ON because my wife rarely uses any of these. Active Sync is also in the OFF position.

I have the sda myself, best phone that I have ever had, its just smooth! For the ring tone issue, I suggest putting some of your own mp3 ringtones or going to the surrealnetworks.com/mpx website from the phone and downloading some ringtones because they typically are pretty loud, and as for the battery I charge my SDA about every 2 days or so, battery life should be awesome, my suggestion, set a reoccuring alarm to remind you to acctually charge the phone, and it should work fine! the battery is around 3-5 days if you don't use mp3, internet, play games (just make some calls, about 30 mins a day)

as far as the ringer volume issue make sure you have the profile on outdoor.
