AVOID EBAY...for cell phones if you want a guranteed warranty or isnt unlocked, thats all im saying, IT YOUR MONEY!. viva la resistance!

I've gotten several phones through eBay. I've only had one less than totally satisfactory experience. Just pay attention to feedback on the party you're buying from.
The only warning I'll give you about Ebay is that if anything happens to your phone ie a repeat of the crashing on your 6101 T-Mobile will not replace it. There is no warranty on it. You may be able to still get insurance on it through Asurion, but I'm not promising that you can if you get the phone from somewhere other than T-Mobile.
Try the warranty first. If you absolutely cannot live with the 6101 and need a different phone ask if the store has any returns in stock that they can resell because you'll get a good phone at a lower pric...

Ebay is good...when buying...look for these things so you do not get screwed:
-their feedback percentage...95% or lower...and i wouldn't do it.
-their total feedback...if they have over a 100...their new but they'll probably be honest.
-ask questions about items...hard questions...if they want you to buy it they'll respond honestly. if they beat around the bush (example: well there is a scartch or two instead of saying how many and where on the phone then don't buy).
-Look and MAKE SURE they h...
