Not that happy with it.

Battery life- 11am fully charged -7pm officially dead. Sat in standby mode all day with the exeption of 2 text messages that i recieved.(i didnt give the battery 2 full life cycles but how much more battery life can it possibly have?)

Reception- Just like the side kick2(which doesnt say much)

Ease of use- It would be better if you can customize your home screen more. You cant use this phone while driving because you need two hands to do most functions.

Sidekick 2 has an easier keyboard to use because it has an separate row of keys for numbers. On this phone you have to hit shift then push the number u want.

I used AIM. It was ok, but it was much easier to use AIM on the side kick. That rolly wheel tha...

You can modify your home screen to have whatever you wnat on ii. You to "Start" "Settings" "Today" and you can change it from there. Also you dont "need" the stylus or your finernail you can use the D-Pad that is on the right once you have the screen slid up. wich is just as easy as the sidekick. i think the device is great. its set up just like a Windows PDA wich you have to know getting into it. For what it has i think its set up famously. it takes some time to learn where everyting is, but once you do it great.

ones that it let me. Overall I just did not like the phone. I feel they couldve done a much better job on it.I guess I expected too much. What I really wanted was a sidekick2 with windows mobile, wifi, and better reception. There really is nothing like a nokias reception and quick access to the apps you want. When the nokia PDA that comes out soon hits ebay I think im going to get that unlocked.

and why bother to buy the device if it only shows email headers and not the full message?

I know TMO is desperate for decent PDA's (Hello, TMO! Treo or SKIII?) but why bother to release this MDA thingy if it's not ready?

you can change the MDA to download the full message, you have to change a simple setting. This is a great phone/PDA I've had mine for about 2 weeks and its been great out of the box. No reception issues anywhere including the airports, You can scroll and access your email and Calendar without the use of the stylus.
T-Mobile this phone is a winner.
Maybe its a little too sophisticated for you and thats why you had the problems? I don't mean that to be nasty, but sometimes its easier just to use a standard phone.
Good luck

How you download full messages for Hotmail? I can only do this for POP accounts.
