hello all, I recently purchased a moto v360 and have a couple questions about it...
is there a way to make the phone not beep when the battery is low other than putting the phone on silent?
2nd question.
is there a way to put separate ringtones for each contact without it playing the same tone when they call you as when they text you...
thanx in advance
...
as far as i know...from using a V300 in the past...No
...
Regarding Question 1 - try charging it.... đ¤Ŗ đ
Sorry you walked into that one. Seriously, I don't know
2nd Question - I have a V300 as well and if the 360 is set up the same, in your phonebook you can edit your contact (of course your contact can't be on the SIM card) under the edit function, you can assign a ringtone to the person and then save it. Then when they call, you get their ringtone. I'm assuming since Motorola OS doesn't tend to change (it's the same OS on the V600, a variation on the E398 and RAZR) you should be able to use this for your contacts.
Enjoy

1. gee I never thought of that... đ
2. I am referring to the sms tone not the ringtone...
...
SMS changing tones for different callers? Nope never heard any phone being able to do that except my old SE did (T68i in particular)
...
every nokia I ever owned has been able to do it
...
But this isn't a Nokia now is it. Try howard forums.com to see if you can change the programming if it's that important.

Dude that is stupid. Who cares about the SMS ringtone? Sound familiar? You ask as many pointless questions as the next. By the way, MrNiceGuy, people do care about the financial/subscriber base of TMO.......unlike your ignorant remarks made to Nextel18
...
1 - you can put it on vibrate or silent
2 - store the contact to your phone (not the sim card)
...
your advice on # 2 does not work unfortunately. âšī¸
...
anybody else have any ideas?
...
u might be able to do sum hex editing , but im not sure...u might wanna ask in howardforums...they know alot about that stuff
...
Unfortunately, it isn't possible. As you may know, you can separate sms alert tones from ring tones. But not person by person. Motorola does not offer this feature...at least not yet.
...
there is no way to change it unless u know how to hack the OS system.
