Thinking of switching to T-Mobile...

I have a few questions if anyway can answer:

1) Does T-Mobile have a money back guarentee/trial period, like Cingular and Sprint?

2) Can anyone recommend a good, inexpensive prepaid phone to try before I switch my number over?

3) What is T-Mobile's 3G upgrade plan?

Thanks!

They have a 14 day trial period for you to test their service out. You can get a cheap GSM phone from Ebay, and get a pre-paid sim card from ebay also, and have the number put into your own area code. Then if you like it, you can get a plan if you like.

They might launch 3G mostly by the end of this year, or in next year. But, first they have to get some 3G spectrum in this years FCC wireless auction.

Terry always has good information. I honestly just don't understand how Terry does not have a job w/ T-Mobile yet. 😕

I can answer all three questions: Go into a T-Mobile store and ask them personally. Or if you don't have a store in your area, go to t-mobile.com and find thier handy dandy 800 number and give them a call.

LEFTY IS NOT A TROLL! 👿 . don't talk to my b***h like that. now if you want, $100.00 and she is all yours for an hour. 😁 .

now to answer your questions

1)3g will probally be umts w/ hsdpa upgrades but they will be in a different bandwidth than cingular.

2)the nokia 6010 is the cheapest pre-pay outside of ebay and maybe a few dollar stores in the hood.

3)its 14 days to return the phone and just pay for usage* unless in cali i think. 😕 if you dont like it after 14 day pay the etf or try to swindle your way out.

Welcome!

also forgot to mention the auction for 3g is in june or july of 06 so it probally wont be in full launch until 2007 but a few lucky cities might see a tester launch before this years end. most likely in the final quater. 😁

Hopefully that is in California, as Cingular && T-mobile once shared networks

T-Mobile has a 14 day trial period during which you only pay for useage.

Try a T-Mobile To Go plan. If you play your cards right you can get one for practically nothing and even come out ahead.

As far as I know T-Mobile's ultimate plan is for HSPDA and UMTS. That's on hold however til they get more spectrum. It's possible that if they win spectrum licenses in an upcoming auction they may be able to do...
