Unlocked Motorola Black V3 Razr
Is there any difference between the European version & the American version unlocked of the black razr? Also does the European version have AIM built in like the American one? I am thinking of getting one from Florida but it's a European one with video in it. I am going to use it with T-Mobile USA. This is my first unlocked phone and I was wondering once I get it do I need to call T-Mobile to lock it with them or can I just put the sim card in and leave it? Thanks!

Put the SIM card in and forget about it as long as its unlocked. Then you would have to send or enter the MMS and internet settings manually into the phone.

Would I still be able to download from T-Zones like games,ringtones,wallpaper? Also if I let T-Mobile send the settings and information automactically to my phone that would lock it to T-Mobile right?

no you would not be able to download anythings from T-ZONES. it will say phone not supported, I have an unlocked Nokia 6620 I use with TMOB and this is what it says

I believe you can go to my T-Mobile and select downloads for the V3 we do support with littler problems. Make sure web browser settings are adjusted before hand. Insurance is a good idea but if a claim is made the replacement would be our V3(not black). I had a customer that had purchased on and I set it up for him and he was able to get the downloads for his phone.
