I know. ☚ī¸ I just got my notice a couple of weeks ago. I'm under Plan B with $110 deductible because I have the Moto V600. Also includes the Motorola V3 RAZR - Plan B $110 deductible! I don't think it's fair there's a Plan A and Plan B! 😡

Do you think it's fair that Phone A costs more than Phone B? If you accept that some phones cost more than others, you must also accept that some phones cost more for the insurance company to replace them for you, and that they're going to pass that difference on to you. Businesses do not do well if they sell something for more than it costs them. If the insurance is too much for your personal comfort zone, then cancel it and accept the risk yourself.

I agree with you Aleq. I don't know if I'm going to continue with this insurance with the phone. I still don't like the two plans all because of different phones.😡

Insurance is going to be the same anywhere you go. At least ALL our devices can be covered by asurion, some other providers will not even cover the higher end phones, and make you go through hell and tap dance to file a claim. Asurion really isn't all that bad. (not saying I'm thrilled with them either, but they aren't that bad compared to what else is out there)

It's a good business decision for them to make to say replace a $500 ipaq for $110 instead of $35 for example. The customer is still getting a MUCH cheaper replacement than having to re-buy it, too.

I personally don't think it's worth it if you've got a low end-middle of the road phone because T-Mobile will more than likely have a discount available cost effective enough for ...
