Anyone else have email issues with the G1? My gmail is working great on the phone, but I also added my comcast accts and they are not working. They will recieve one email and that is it. It gives you an option to load more messages, but when you choose that, it says "loading more messages", but nothing happens and goes back to the "load more messages" option. It does not pull down any of my new emails as the come in and if you try to do a refresh or then I get a connection error. I'll called Tmobile last night and no one could find a reason for this or a way to help me. I'm about ready to pull my hair out. I can't understand why its having these issues when its supposed to support POP3 email. Any have any ideas/suggestions?? 👿

If its anything like Cox Communications they have an anti-spam blocker in place to prevent people from using their email address to send spam. It makes it difficult to set up email on mobile devices. I would contact comcast or attach you comcast email to your gmail account.

Funny, I work for Cox Communications. I've had my comcast accounts set up on my last 2 Tmobile phones with never a problem, so I don't think its an issue with comcast....its a G1 issue. Apparently many people are having it.

just forward your Comcast email to you@gmail.com then sign into gmail from a PC and you can set it up to "Send As"... Which will send email as you@comcast

So when someone gets an email they see you@comcast. When they reply it will goto you@comcast, then instantly get forwarded to you@gmail...thus instantly coming on your G1 phone.
