Prepaid Service Issues

Hello,

I recently purchased a Nokia 2610 and activated it on the pay-as-you-go prepaid plan. The issue I am having occurs when someone tries to call me. After they hit the last digit of my phone number, there is a 15 second delay before they hear ringing in their earpiece, and before my phone starts to ring. In other words, the caller hears blank air for 15 seconds, then often they think they hit the wrong number, hang up, then try again, and the same thing happens. The delay is always there, it is not intermittent. The retail store has swapped out the phone, the SIM card, and even tried a different phone number. Technical support is stumped, and said that is just how the system is. ?????
Just how the system is???? I think that 15 second...

could be a network issue or lol a "outage" in your area 😁 call back and have them check everything ask for a cancel location maybe that might work. if not just everyone know not to hang up when they call you.

Or just get off prepaid, if you plan on switching it to a contract, take advantage of the 14 day trial tmobile gives you....quit complaining about your pay as you go
