BGR says G1 is coming to Best Buy!
Best Buy has gotten rid of mail in rebates... everything is instant... so expect them to have the best pricing on the G1 for a new activation.
I got a BB Curve there a month ago for 50 bucks total on a new activation. That was when Tmo corp wanted 249 for the darn thing with a 100 MIR.
Cheers!

Very good deal, BUT, be careful. Many of these 3rd party dealers will give you a great up-front price on a phone, but remember, they need to make that money someplace else. Be sure to check to see if you are signing TWO contracts. This is usually the case. You would sign one with the carrier and one with the retailer and they would then have seperate ETF's. The contract with the retailer can be considered void for something as simple as changing your text plan or another feature. I am not saying 3rd party dealers are bad, just be sure and actually READ the agreement.

That would be the case if they were some joe schmoe indirect dealer. We are talking about a national retailer account. i.e. Wal-Mart. Neither Wal-Mart or Best Buy makes you sign such agreements.

Cool I have had a C902 on Vodafone here in the Uk since it came out. The handset is solid and works very nicely. Its also the phone in the New James Bond movie. The camera pulls out the top in true James Bond spy fashion.
I hope SE fixed the software bugs in the phone. Its nothing major just my alarm and ringtones would not always work. Once I updated the phone via the cable and net. The problem was solved.
Sony is doing a special Silver Bond Eddition for the C902. Dont know if it will be sold in the states or not.
As for me I have the limited edition Vodafone Red one.
