with apologies for some people 🙄 i ame not too familiar with the wing, but a few general sites with lots of free ring tones are tuneusin.com and moviewavs.com. a couple of video download sites i use a lot are blueapple.mobi and tnytube.net. a new site i just heard of but havent visited is funformobile.com. hope this gets you started

Does anyone know why my internet would not be working? It keeps coming up and error message for every website that I go to. I have full internet on my phone and everything, so is there something i need to do with the phone to make it work or something? I called customer service and they said they fixed my network, but still I get no internet. Any ideas of why this may be happening?

I have the wing and I'm a rep as well. T-mobile uses 3 main servers for data traffic. It could be that sometimes Wings need to be on a different data server. First we need to check a few things.

Go into Start > Settings > click on Connections Tab > GPRS setting. Make sure your phone has selected CHAP authentication.


NEXT

Go into Start > Settings > Connections Tab > Connections > Highlight "Manage Existing Connections" link > Select T-Mobile Data and Tap EDIT > Make sure T-Mobile Data is the name of the connection > NEXT > ACCESS POINT NAME can be either wap.voicestream.com, wap.internet2.com, or wap.internet3.com. If it IS one of these names, you're on the right track.

Hey man thanks for your help and my wing seems to be working fine now, I think I just need to wait for the data plan to update on my phone as you said. Do you know any other cool things that the wing can do? Like downloading new programs and what not?

Well, if you do a search on the internet for pocket pc windows mobile 6 programs, you'll get a lot of sites offering freeware, shareware, and buyable content.

ONE PROGRAM I DEFININATELY RECOMMEND WOULD BE GOOGLE MAPS for mobile.

I personally have downloaded a lot of wallpapers and a couple free games.

My advice would be just to keep searching the sites untill you see the content you want. It's a wing, so make sure you store everything to the storage card instead of the main memory. also, clear out your cache every once in a while. You'll start going low on memory and your phone sure likes to let you know it too.
