hi I've been having issue with my phone. i switched to tmobile back in october. i started with the samsung t629 which i had speaker and mic issues after having sent back three. they sent me the motoroloa rizer which kept resetting it's self now after having sent back three of those they say the only phone they can give me is the samsung t629 again. so i am thinking of buying a new phone since i'll be paying full price which should i get the motorola razer2 or the sidekick lx or the slide. now i am 24 so i kinda thought the sidekick was a teenager style of phone. and i don't like that it doesn't do video. but then again nor does the iphone and you can't use mms with the iphone unless it's unlocked. can anyone offer any help?

Wow man, you got some back luck. The 629 and RIZR have some of the lowest defective rates out of all our phones.

The RAZR2 is a waste of money right now, its not worth $400 bucks(invoice price). At least with the Sidekicks you'll be getting more options like internet and email. And the sidekicks arent really "teenager" phones, they target ages 16-28, hell Ive seen someone in their 50s with a sidekick.

If your willing to spend retail price for high end phones, Id say go for an unlocked euro phone.

The Wing is underpowered with a crappy processor and only 64mB of RAM, I dont suggest it. Shadow is a nice midranged smartphone, it has awesome predictive text and is probably the easiest WM6 phone to use. The Sidekick LX/Slide are the best sidekicks to date, the number of defects in them is vastly lower than the Sidekick 2 and 3.

If you want a data device that you can customize and load third party software on, go with the Shadow or an unlocked euro phone. If you want something to just text/im and do basic browsing and emailing, go with the Sidekicks. The only difference between the LX and Slide is the screen size/body size, the LX comes with a small MicroSD(128 or 256), and cost as the LX is $100 more.
