unwanted caller
Some phone models do have a menu option for call blocking but the service is not available on the t-mobile network.
Some companies do but usually only on phones that are for little kids that have pre-set #s in them.
You could change your mobile # but it will cost you $15.00 to change it.
Or you could stop answering your phone if its an unknown #
You could out think this idiot. Here is what you do.
Go into your phone menu >> Forwarding and replace your voicemail number with a number that you know is disconnected, such as 212-435-7379. That way, private number A-hole calls in the morning, you hit decline, he/she gets the disconnected message. Do that for a couple days and you should be ok 🙂
1) EVERYONE who calls you and you dont answer will be forwarded to that # so you will not get any new voice mail messages as long as you leave it forwarding to a different #
2) If you forward calls to a # other than your voice mail you be billed as if your phone was making an outbound call to that #. even if it is only forwarded to a disconnected # message it will still be billed as a 1 min call.
Conditional = The t-mobile phone will ring first, then if unanswered will forward the call to another number. ( only free if it is sent to the voicemail )
Unconditional = The T-Mobile phone never rings and all calls are sent directly to another number.
The 500 min bucket is for Unconditional call forwarding only. So to be able to use it you would have to set ALL of your calls to forward directly to the other number and would not even know if someone was trying to call you.
The 500 min of unconditional call forwarding is meant to be used in situations where you cant use your T-Mobile phone at all but want calls sent to another number, like if your phone was ...
(continues)
Otherwise, it wouldnt be fair to charge 1 minute of your actual rateplan to have the call forwarded to your voicemail.
Forwarding calls to the voicemail is the ONLY number you can forward to that is not billed like regular call forwarding.
Any other # you forward calls to will be billed as regular min used. Unless you set up unconditional forwarding , then it will take out of the 500 min bucket.
Conditional Call Forwarding= 500 mins
Unconditional Call Forwarding = from your rate plan
Conditional call forwarding, the phone will ring, then when not answered will go to a number of choosing, by default, this is voicemail. Its not free, it takes from the 500 minutes that t-mobile give you
Unconditional call forwarding, the cell phone WILL NOT RING, and go directly to a number of your choosing, taking from your rate plan minutes.
If you do work for t-mobile, its in streamline, under the features
Features > Featrues > Included features> Call forwarding conditional (CFC)

I persistently for the last week have had a blocked # call me around 7:30 am. Is there any way to block them from calling me?
Yeah, it's called a shot gun...draw your own conclusions!
Sony Ericcson phones have a setting on the phone that if the customer is not in your phone book it will send them directly to VM too.

How would you go about doing that? I have a k790a and I would be curious to know for future reference. Thanks!!!
