FAQ on Termination FEES

Not that I would cancel my T-Mobile service.

The nice thing about the policy for waiving the ETF for military is that T-Mobile does not have access to government records saying who is enlisted and being deployed.

As long as your not to old to be on active duty you can call in any time and claim to be enlisted and being deployed to cancel your service without an ETF.

they do ask for proof of military service and proof that your getting deployed by faxing a copy of your orders tob retentions before cancelling your service...didn't think of that did you 🤣

There is no t-mobile policy that says you have to fax in any proof that you are enlisted or being deployed. If you get a rep who asks you to they are wrong. just say you will fax it in then hang up and call back to get someone else.

Just like calling in to suspend or cancel for any other reason like lost/stolen or the owner of the account has died, they dont ask for a police report or death certificate to be faxed over, they just take your word for it.

Only difference is if its canceled for military reasons you can reactivate a new account later, but if you call in and say you died just to get out of the ETF you can never open a new account with t-mobile in that persons name/social.

P.S. the laughing face when your WRONG makes you...

Actually I do work for T-mobile customer care and have for over 5 years. If you read the policy it does not ask for anything to be faxed in for military suspend or cancel.

I work Smart Access , there is not a separate retention department for Smart Access accounts. And anyone who has access to Streamline can read the policy not just retention reps.

all companies ask for the papers, personally i think that if you can't fax them then pay up. people like dead pool here always seem to try to scam people and then complain when prices get raised on everything. you sir or madam are ignorant and i hope that someday soon your scamming ways will get you in serious trouble. not everyone is into LYING, CHEATING, and STEALING like you are!!

I am not forcing anyone to cheat, just telling them how in case they want to.

Knowledge is power! Power to the people!

If you ask me all companies charge to much for there service. If you can find a way to stick it to the man then you should.

Hmmm. Dead Pool, looks like you want to give people some information on HOW TO SCAM a company. A company ALWAYS looks for a profit margin while trying to retain and/or get more customers. Is that wrong? If you started a business, would you want people to rip you off just because they don't quite understand economics and the risk in getting the company running and the heartache and many hours poured into the company to keep it from sinking? Point is, I think ripping off any company is wrong! Its integrity my friend. Companies like T-Mobile and Verizon, or any company for that matter, don't just happen by accident. There is LOTS of effort to get it started and to keep it going, and the last thing they need is someone like you taking advantage ...
