Durable? The W490 is pretty solid. Stay away from the Nokia 5300. The Nokia 6133, however, is really durable. Don't get a "slider" phone. They break easy unless babied.

actually, the motorola rizr is very durable, even for a slider phone. honestly i'd say go into a retail store and talk with them, they will help you find the best phone for your husbands' needs.
