Is the Shadow supposed to have UMA capability?

The next phone I get needs to be UMA capable, but I need a smartphone/pda. I am heavily considering a Curve, but I really like that the WM6 devices will automatically read text messages into my bluetooth. So much so, that I am actually using it as a deciding factor.
If anyone has any info on upcoming UMA capable smartphones/pda I would greatly appreciate it.

I just got the "press release" for the Shadow from T-Mobile at our store today.
Let's just say that I am overwhelmed with underwhelment.
2.6" screen, but only 65k color
No UMA
No Touchflo screen (at least no mention of it in the 20 some pages that I read)
Supports up to 4gb memory card
2.0 mp camera
Is anyone excited about this? If I am missing something great please let me know...

from what i read it has the same processor, althoug it will have more memory for programs so it should run a lot more smoother.

I understand if it is capable of 4gb of storage, which should help with speed.
However, when you are HTC, and you specialize in pda/smartphones and do a darn good job at it, you can't let a flip (razr2) beat you in processor speed! The razr2 has a 500 meg processor! Yes it is an expensive phone, but so are the HTC offerings.
I just think it is inexcusable to not make an attempt at keeping pace with a phone that does not even have as many capabilities.

...it appears that the Shadow has a 201 mhz processor (same as Wing) and 256 mb ROM / 128 mb RAM.
That is a little better, speedwise, but I am still disappointed.

the wing is really really slow though. I'm just happy they are replacing it with something even slighty faster.

i think this is UMA just its locked and not accesible until the 3G network is implemented.

No it does not have UMA. No it is not slower than the RAZR2. No it does not last only five hours (unless you overcharge the thing). No it will not be 3G compatible. No it is notthe same speed as the Wing. No the screen is not horrible at only 65K color. I have had mine for a couple weeks now and it is working great (I got the green one at training). I am running a lot of softwae on it, it gets good reception, has respectable battery life and all the features that were important to carry over from the Wing.
