Is the Shadow supposed to have UMA capability?
Is the Shadow a renamed Touch?
The next phone I get needs to be UMA capable, but I need a smartphone/pda. I am heavily considering a Curve, but I really like that the WM6 devices will automatically read text messages into my bluetooth. So much so, that I am actually using it as a deciding factor.
If anyone has any info on upcoming UMA capable smartphones/pda I would greatly appreciate it.
Let's just say that I am overwhelmed with underwhelment.
2.6" screen, but only 65k color
No UMA
No Touchflo screen (at least no mention of it in the 20 some pages that I read)
Supports up to 4gb memory card
2.0 mp camera
Is anyone excited about this? If I am missing something great please let me know...
However, when you are HTC, and you specialize in pda/smartphones and do a darn good job at it, you can't let a flip (razr2) beat you in processor speed! The razr2 has a 500 meg processor! Yes it is an expensive phone, but so are the HTC offerings.
I just think it is inexcusable to not make an attempt at keeping pace with a phone that does not even have as many capabilities.
That is a little better, speedwise, but I am still disappointed.
2.0 MP Camera w/ video (based on memory). According to HTC an update will soon be released after the launch to allow the phone the capacity of working with NEW 16GB and possibly up to 32GB Micro SD. Believe it, it's true.
NO TouchFLO 😢
Spin navigation wheel and 5 way directional pad.
201MHz processor, same as wing (will run faster though as it is a smartphone, but not impressive in comparison to newer products)
256MB ROM (2x that of the Dash or Wing so better on processing programs without any additional memory)
Unique interface on screen
Horrible battery life. Am getting 5 hours of total time with light use.
