V3 06 has a plastic back instead of the metal back. no upgrades really to software. they just put cheaper parts into it.
W490 is a basic motorola with NO camera but it does have a music player.

Actually the W490 has a 1.3 megapixel camera. The Tmobilenews article didnt list everything (a few other phones had it happen as well), but the granddaddy of Tmo systems, Streamline, shows it with a 1.3mp camera.

Thank you. 😁 I was going to go with Sprint to get the Sanyo Katana DLX(love Sanyo phones) but I will just wait. I have had both TMO and Sprint in the past and I love Sprint data service but TMO rate plans and customer service are the best. 😁 Im very happy to know that the SK4 is in the making. I hoping that it will be much better than the SK3. Im just needing a decent phone with Qwerty because I do a lot of texting and emailing...and also a decent camera...and I hope that they add video...I have a 1 year old and I take pix of her all the time. I could care less about Bluetooth because I never use it. Sharp just needs to make the SK worth the money you pay for it.

Unfornately I don't. I wish did. I am just hoping that Sharp has stepped up their game. The SK is so expensive. Its need to be feature packed and have a decent cam/video, music player,better battery life faster internet speeds, and more personalized options...oh and be able to send send pix directly from phone instead of emailing them. If they make those changes then the reviews will be much better than the SK3.

The string of colored PEARLS coming out will not have WiFi, the above poster is correct about that. The BB coming out later on this month (Sept 24) is the one that will. As for features on the Sidekick 4, not much is going to be changing. The rumors are as follows:
-2 MP Camera
-Sliding action, instead of rotating flip (possibly the Moto Dante)
-It has been confirmed at least that you CAN send picture messages on this next one, not to only emails.

I read that the Moto Dante doesn't replace the SK...it will be just another non PDA qwerty device that TMo will sell other than just the SK. They have done that before. Remember the Moto A630? I think the SK4 won't be available until next year. Hopefully within the next month or so we will get more information.

i saw that.. but there is another article emailed to all managers that said that it did. i am pretty sure it was a typo or confusions because it showed all three colored pearls and the Curve, with it saying now with hotspot and wifi.
