I live in Oklahoma City and have been told I cant move over to Cingular without paying an early termination fee with AT&T, because AT&T here isnt going away.

Your local ATT (or Cingular) store should be able to handle this starting today. if they don't know what to do, call 1-866-CINGULAR for more advice.

I have gone to an AT&T and a Cingular store. I have called AT&T and Cingular 2 or 3 times each. They all say I cant do it here in Oklahoma City.

I'm sorry to say but you are in a market that Cannot migrate to cingular. Cingular was forced by the FCC to sell off their AWS accounts in the Oklahoma City to another provider. You cannot migrate to Cingular.

OUCH. Hello FCC fine. We were told under no circumstances do we migrate those in one of those divested markets as it could mean FCC fines.
