Is that your defense concerning the exclusion of this feature that I am sure many many people use. There is absolutely no excuse for Apple to leave this feature off, and your statement was very fanboyish and somewhat childlike. I expect more from you, as you are a charter member of this forum.

I'm neither a fan of the iPhone nor the new at&t. I sell Verizon Wireless.
But I thought it was funny that suddenly people care about MMS just because it's not on the iPhone. MMS is a failure in the US market.
Anyways, you can always just attach the files on an e-mail without the 300k file size limit you get on an MMS.

Its a big deal when we lose something we are accustomed to having. I would ask that you present facts, when stating that MMS is a failure in the US market.
My SE's dont have a 300kb limit when it comes to sending MMS. Some of my friends and myself send each other msgs as large as 475kb.

MMS packages used to be sold separately and now they are not
for example, the old MEdia Basic had separate allowances for SMS and MMS
overages for MMS are higher than SMS but besides that, there is no difference in the amount carriers can charge for them in bundles

well lets see...my at&t phone does everything I need it to do. I get great service. I can text,mms, browse the web, transfer songs back and forth with co-workers through bluetooth. I get to use sony ericsson phones! Go smoke your cdma grass somewhere else.

You rather have an unlocked phone, a phone that is not handicapped, and a sim ina a networks dead area, (IE phone will not operate due to no signal) Than get a phone that will work in your area.

I've read the manual and I don't buy it. It may be legit, but probably isn't. The person posting it claims to have no ties to apple nor at&t... so how did they get it?

Nope, I read their site too. It's rumors and nothing official.
I'm not saying it isn't true, but I'm saying I won't lend faith to any rumor out there because of the hype on this device. There is so much crap floating around out there that you can't pick the truth from the gossip.

True, but engadget posted that "leaked" manual as well which I'm highly suspect of. Just because they have verifiable sources for some of their information does not mean all of it should be taken as such.
They're not like some tabloid magazine or something, but I'm even taking the information handed down by at&t as suspect. I'm still expecting one or two last minute changes before it hits stores in two days.
