i think they ran out of stock. i heard that SE is upgrading the firmware on the phone, and that they will ship cingular new ones.
btw, u can still order them over the phone, jus call up cingular customer care, and talk to them. also, many of the stores have a lot of them because its prolly the most popular phone cingular has right now.

there are still 42,000 in warehouse. the stores still carry them as well. don't know why they took it offline.

that's would be a great idea, but i have to agree with the 2 under me. online would never help retail out. cheaper to push everything online than to pay the rep commission in the store.

but there are credit codes in opus and care (not sure of telegence) - drive to retail credit. a lot of the tdma migration letters and tdma upgrade letters included the closest retail location before it listed the 800 number to call. not sure if it's all markets but TN/KY there has been a big marketing push to get customers into the store. that's why they stopped doing bundled prices for phones and now just list the price of the phone, not the price of the phone with 2 accessories / bluetooth.

I don't know. It's one the few phones I'd consider if I ever went back to Cingy.
